Undergraduate Program

Student from Host Country under National Curriculum

SSC or Equivalent:
- Student from only Science group can apply
- Minimum CGPA 4.50 out of 5.00
HSC or Equivalent:
- Student from only Science group can apply
- Minimum CGPA 4.50 out of 5.00
- Must have to pass in 2021 or 2020
- Must Have A+ grade in following Subject

  2. Chemistry
  3. Mathematics
- Must Have minimum A grade in following Subject
  1. English

Student from O/A Level or Equivalent

O Level or Equivalent:
- Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with Minimum grade B, and English with minimum grade C
A Level or Equivalent:
- Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with Minimum grade A
If the transcript provides both grade and marks, then the grades will be considered and marks will be ignored. If the transcript shows only marks, only then marks will be converted into grades according to the following table

*[In order to attract bright students to join IUT it has been decided to create provision for awarding IUT Partial Scholarship to some students. Initially 04 (four) top ranked admitted students in the merit list after Admission Test for host country students will be awarded this scholarship.Programme wise distribution of the IUT Partial Scholarship will be announced later. Students availing IUT partial scholarship shall continue to enjoy it for the subsequent years if they maintain the CGPA of 3.75 or above; otherwise their scholarship will be forfeited and they will need to pay the fees as specified in the payment schedule of self-finance students.].

IUT Scholarship

I. Undergraduate Programmes

1. FULL OIC SCHOLARSHIP

Two(2) full OIC scholarship for host country are awarded to two top ranked admitted students in the combined merit list of the admission process. But they have to deposit a refundable amount of US$500.00 which will be refunded after completing one year.

2. PARTIAL OIC SCHOLARSHIP

Additional scholarships for the Host country may be considered if there is any vacant scholarship after the admission of the international students.
Host country students get this partial scholarship based on merit position in the admission test combined score.

** Applicant from BTHT program can’t migrate to B Sc Engg and BBA programs. Applicant from B Sc Engg and BBA programs also can’t migrate to BTHT program. Admission process and requirements are different for these programmes.

All selected candidates under this programme will get Full OIC Scholarships.
This scholarships are awarded for both host country and Nominated International Students.
Scholarships are distributed among Nominated Eligible Students of member states equally.

II. Postgraduate Programmes

IUT faculty members will receive 100% tuition-waiver at the Ph.D. Level.
In addition, one full time Ph.D. student per department per year will receive 100% tuition-waiver.
At the M.Sc. level, IUT faculty members will receive 50% tuition-waiver.
At the M.Sc. level, two full time students in each department per year will receive 100% tuition-waiver.

All selected candidates under this programme will get Full OIC Scholarships.
This scholarship is for both host country and Nominated International Students.
Scholarships are distributed among Nominated Eligible Students of member states equally.

IUT Eligible List 2022

IUT Eligible candidates list has been published on 26 April 2022. All the selected candidates need to complete the payment of Admission test fee(1000 BDT) during 27 April 2022 (2:00 PM) – 8 May 2022 (11:59 PM). If any candidate does not complete the payment of Admission test Fee, he/she will not be allowed to sit for admission test. Instruction for Admission Test Fee payment will be available in applicant Dashboard.
