The Department of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has published a short syllabus of all subjects. Secondary and Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education makes the syllabus of all subjects of HSC examination to be held in 2023 has been published on the website of Dhaka Education Board.
Although Dhaka Education Board published Short Syllabus for HSC 2023, this syllabus will also be applicable for other education boards in Bangladesh.
HSC new syllabus PDF has been prepared for a total of 73 textbooks for Class 11-12. Besides Dhaka Education Board; Chattagram Education Board, Sylhet Education Board, Cumilla Education Board, Dijanpur Education Board, Barishal Education Board, Rajshahi Education Board will take Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination in 2023.

Why HSC New Short Syllabus?
The curriculum in HSC usually comprises a huge number of topics for all the subjects present in the curriculum. Students get about two years to complete the syllabus and prepare for the final exam. This situation this year was somehow different for Corona Pandemic.
But as the situation is improving, the ministry of education wants to arrange the next HSC exam in 2023 in due time. But the existing curriculum might be a huge load for the students. That is why the syllabus has been cut off by keeping only the important topics there.
