The circular of the 41st BCS was published on 26 November 2019. According to the 41 BCS circular, 2,135 officers will be appointed in different posts.

BCS written syllabus

Written test time, Marks distribution & Viva number

Time Distribution: The written test time for each subject of 200 (two hundred) marks will be 4 (four) hours and each of 100 (one hundred) marks written test time of the subject will be 3 (three) hours. Candidates must participate in all subject examinations.

Pass Mark: The average minimum pass mark in the written test will be 50%. If a candidate gets less than 30% marks in any subject in the written test, he will be considered as not getting any marks in that subject. Candidates who have passed the written test and submitted the BCS Application Form (applicant’s copy) within the time prescribed by the Commission have had their candidature canceled due to substantive error.

Viva Exam:  Viva exam full number 200 and pass number 100. Candidates must be passed in both written and oral exams have to be passed separately.

Other information: In case of candidates opting for Technical Cadre and Technical Cadre only with General Cadre and Technical / Professional Cadre only, it is compulsory to participate in the written examination of a single subject of 4 hours duration of 200 marks in the relevant subject for the relevant post or service.

Candidates will be disqualified if they do not write the registration number correctly in the preliminary test and written test and do not fill in the circle correctly or make any cuts or spots in the wrong circle or use fluid.
