Fee Payment Procedure
Tuition fees and semester fees are to be paid on semester basis.
Caution money for undergraduate programs is Tk. 3,000 (refundable) and for that of graduate programs is Tk. 2,000 (refundable).
All payments should be made to the designated Bank by pay order /cash in the prescribed Money Receipt taken from the Accounts section of BUBT.
Fees are payable as per following schedule:
New student : Total fees of the 1st semester to be paid at the time of admission.
Existing student : 50% of the total semester fees is to be paid at the time of registration and the rest 50% is payable within 30 days from the date of start of the classes of that semester or as decided and notified by the university administration from time to time.
A specific amount of fine shall be payable for failure to pay the fees within the schedule date. Students will not be allowed to sit for the Semester Final Examination without clearance of all their dues before the start of the Examination

In case of sons/daughters of Freedom Fighters, a total GPA of at least 5.00 in both the SSC and the HSC Examinations. But the official proof of the Father /Mother as a Freedom Fighter must be submitted.
Admission Procedure for LL.M. Program:
Admission form and prospectus are available in the admission office/ reception desk. After verification of the necessary documents, the applicants are allowed to deposit the admission fees and sign on the application form to complete the admission process.
Two passport size color photographs (studio lab print with white background for ID card purpose).
Photocopies of SSC/O-Level, HSC/A-Level, Bachelor degree or equivalent examinations certificates and mark sheets/transcripts and birth certificate/ national ID card (one copy each).
Original certificate, mark sheets/transcripts and birth certificate /national ID card must be produced for verification by the officer of BUBT in charge of admission.

A student may transfer his credits earned at a previous institution/university attended towards a BUBT degree. For this purpose transcripts from all previously attended institutions/universities must be submitted. Transfer students are expected to have at least 2.50 CGPA for undergraduate and graduate programs on a 4-point scale in all university-level courses to be considered for admission at BUBT. Only those courses where the grade of the student is B and above will be considered for credit transfer. Catalogs, official transcripts, and testimonials from previously attended university/universities must be furnished with the application for admission. The equivalence of courses for each transferred student will be determined by the university. The residency requirement is that at least 60 percent of credits and internship/project of 3 to 4 credits for a degree must be earned at BUBT.
