RU Admission Timeline 2022

The final date for admission to RU is 25, 26 & 27 July 2022. According to RU Admission sub-committee, this year’s admission test will be held in 4 shifts.

Applicants who passed the HSC/Equivalent exam in 2020 & 2021 are eligible to apply for RU admission.

Rajshahi University has the opportunity to attend Admission Test 2021-22 for 2^nd time. Those students who were participating in Rajshahi University Admission Test 2020-21, but didn’t get a chance to admit, this year will obtain the opportunity to participate in Rajshahi University Admission Test 2021-22 again. That means they will obtain a chance for 2^nd time.

It was decided to take 100 Marks MCQ test in the Rajshahi University Admission. Exam Duration will be 1 Hour. In each Unit, there will be 80 questions to answer.

Topic-wise Marks Distribution is given below:

A Unit (For Humanities Group)

Note:

1. 100 Marks practical exam for Music, Theatre, Painting, Oriental Art & Printmaking, Ceramics and Sculpture, Graphic Design, Crafts & History of Art subjects. After publishing the MCQ result, candidates must have to register for the practical exam online within 3 days & appear for the practical exam within 10 days.
2. For English subjects, candidates who passed the MCQ test will have to appear for 50 marks Written test.
3. Candidates must have to qualify for the pass marks prescribed for that department.

Negative Marking: 0.20 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

B Unit (For Business Studies Group)

Pass Mark: 40

C Unit (For Science Group)

Unit: Science

Pass Mark: Total 40 (Compulsory 25, Optional 10 marks separately)

Unit: Non-Science (Humanities, Commerce)

Note:

1. Applicants who will appear for Non-science unit will be eligible for Geography & Environmental Studies, Psychology, Physical Education and Sports Sciences department admission.
2. Science and Non-science unit candidates both will have to appear for 32 marks Practical exam for Physical Education and Sports Sciences department admission.

As per the admission prospectus, applicants’ profiles will be evaluated in accordance with different parameters such as Written test Scores, and Previous Results, to select the final candidates. The written test score with GPA of the SSC and HSC or equivalent examinations will be set as — and will be evaluated as follows:

Rajshahi University has launched a website called admission.ru.ac.bd for admission application, login and all related information. Eligible candidates can apply for admission by following the below-mentioned procedure. Its noted that, applicants must submit the application before the deadline otherwise application submission will not be considered valid.

• You must first go to the Rajshahi University website https://admission.ru.ac.bd/.
• There are guidelines on how to complete the admission process of all the units after visiting the website. So read the guidelines very well.
• Click on the Apply button on this website of Rajshahi University to apply for admission in any unit.
• After clicking on the apply button, the applicant has to give the roll number of SSC and HSC exams.
• Then fill in the name of the board you passed from and click on the click button.
• Please verify the above information very well.
• And finally, click the Confirm button.

Note: Application information will be updated on the website within 48 hours of Application fee payment.

Rajshahi University Admission Short List 2022 has been published for Eligible Candidates for the final admission test. 3 separate eligible lists (for A, B, and C Units) will be published for Rajshahi University final admission test. Final Admission Form fill-up opportunity will be given for eligible candidates only. The Shortlist will be Prepared from the Preliminary Application of RU. All Students will not be given be the opportunity to participate in the Admission Test 2021-22. Only shortlisted students will be able to apply for the Final Admission Form. Only final applicants can participate in the admission test.

The result of the RU selection has been made public. Students were chosen from among the primary candidates based on their HSC results. In the first phase, the GPA used to choose the required number of applicants for the final application in different categories of each unit is given below.

The final application will be accepted in 03 stages. The selected students of each stage must make the final application within the specified time. Once the time is up, you will not be given chance to apply.

Final application schedule:

RU Admit card is not published yet. However, the University will publish a admit card download notice a few days before the exam. When admit card will be published that information will be notified as soon as possible. You can download admit card from our website.

Rajshahi University Admission Seat plan will be available after completing the final application. Moreover, candidates can be informed of his/her seat plan through SMS as per instructions given later. Basically, University of Rajshahi Published the Seat Location before two or three days of the Admission Test of any Unit(s).

RU Admission Result Will be Found here. Generally, Admission Results publish after 3/4 Days Later of the exam date.
