BAU Admission Timeline 2022

A combined agricultural admission test date has been uncovered and the date is set for….  Here is the unit-wise exam date.

1. Applicants who have passed SSC or equivalent examination in 2017, 2018 & 2019 and HSC or equivalent examination in 2020 & 2021 from the Science group are eligible to apply.

2. In both SSC/ equivalent and HSC/ equivalent examinations, the candidate must have to obtain at least GPA  3.50 in each and at least GPA 8.50 in total excluding the fourth subject.

3. Both SSC/ equivalent and HSC/ equivalent examinations must have separate subjects in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology.

It was decided to take 100 Marks MCQ test in Bangladesh Agricultural University Admission 2021-22. MCQ Exam Duration will be 1 hour.

Negative Marking: 0.25 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

After completing the online application, applicants have to wait for the publication of the short list of eligible candidates.

As per the admission prospectus, the eligible candidates’ Merit List will be prepared based on Total Grade Points obtained in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology subjects in SSC/equivalent and HSC/equivalent examination.

According to the notice, the admission committee will give the opportunity to 10 times of total seat number of applicants from the eligible candidates’ merit list to participate in the admission test. The list of valid candidates for the admission test will be published on the university website later.

Bangladesh Agricultural University allows only online application. BAU admission website called admission-agri.org for admission application, login, and all related information. Eligible candidates can apply for admission by following the below-mentioned procedure. It noted that applicants must submit the application before the deadline otherwise application submission will not be considered valid.

• Visit admission-agri.org and click the “Apply” button.
• Fill up the SSC & HSC Board, Passing Year, Roll, Registration No, Quota, applicant’s personal mobile number and click on the Next button.
• If all the information appears correct then the applicant’s eligibility will show and click the Next button.
• The candidate has to provide the preference order for fix the Exam Center among 8 Agriculture Universities and click the Submit button.
• Application PIN & Password will be shown for further login purposes. Keep the PIN & Password in a safe place.
• Fill up the Email, Mobile No, Postal Address & Quota and click on the Next button.
• In this step, the Application Fee needs to be confirmed. Applicants can pay it later.
• Application Fee can be paid by bKash or Rocket.
• According to the instruction, the eligible applicant for the admission test has to upload a recent color photograph (50 kb max, jpeg format) after publishing the eligible merit list.
• If all processes are completed successfully, “You have successfully completed the online application” will be displayed in the web browser.
• Finally, download the Admit card & color print on a white paper before appearing the admission exam.

As per the admission prospectus, applicants’ profiles will be evaluated in accordance with different parameters such as Admission Test Scores, and Previous Results, to select the final candidates. The written test score with marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & Biology in SSC and HSC or equivalent examinations will be set as 150 and will be evaluated as follows:

If the merit score is equal, then the merit list will be prepared by considering the followings:

1. Admission Test Score
2. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & Biology Total Score obtained in HSC/equivalent
3. The score obtained consecutively in Biology, Chemistry, Physics & Mathematics as per preference order in HSC/equivalent.
4. The score obtained consecutively in Biology, Chemistry, Physics & Mathematics as per preference order in SSC/equivalent.
5. The applicant who applied first.

Note: Merit list will be prepared based on the score of the admission test and the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & Biology in SSC and HSC or equivalent examinations.
